# Yoodli Alternatives in 2026: Which Speech Coach Fits You Best?

If you are one person practicing for yourself, pick by goal: Orai or Speeko for solo delivery drills on a phone, PowerPoint's free Speaker Coach for slide rehearsals, Huru for free interview mocks, and Speaking Coach for a voice partner that talks back in 20 languages. As of October 2026 Yoodli's site is aimed mainly at companies, though it still has free and paid plans for individuals on the web.

## What changed with Yoodli

As of October 2026, Yoodli calls itself "The AI Platform for Human Skills", and most of its home page speaks to sales teams, learning and development groups and training companies: AI roleplays, certifications, dashboards, and integrations with Salesforce, Gong, Zoom, Teams and learning systems. Individuals are still served. Its pricing page lists a free Starter plan with 5 lifetime sessions, Pro at $8 a month billed annually (up to 10 roleplays a week), and Advanced at $20 a month billed annually (unlimited). Its public speaking page still offers presentation practice with a speaking report on pacing, filler words, conciseness and clarity, plus optional follow-up questions.

So Yoodli has not left individuals behind. But if you want something built for one person, on a phone, without annual billing, you have other choices. We make Speaking Coach, which is one of them; we say below where the others do a job better.

## Pick by goal

| Your goal | Good fit | Why | Watch out for |
| --- | --- | --- | --- |
| Cut fillers and fix pace, alone, in a few minutes a day | Orai | Phone app that scores fillers, pace, clarity, energy and conciseness | English only; no partner who talks back |
| Daily delivery drills with lessons | Speeko | Short exercises, real-time voice tracking, iOS, Android, Mac and web | Monthly plan is pricier than annual |
| Rehearse a slide deck | PowerPoint Speaker Coach | Free preview, flags reading slides, fillers and pace | English only; tied to PowerPoint |
| Free interview practice | Huru | Live AI interviewer with follow-ups, free for job seekers | No native Android app listed |
| Voice and tone work | Vocal Image | Voice tests, intonation and breathing exercises | Less about what you say under pressure |
| A partner who plays the other side, in your language | Speaking Coach | Voice partner for interviews, talks and small talk, 20 languages | Subscription; no free tier in the phone app |
| Team training with scoring and reports | Yoodli | Built for that | Overkill for one person |

## The options, briefly

**Orai.** As of October 2026, its App Store listing describes instant feedback on filler words, pace, clarity, energy, confidence and conciseness, with short lessons and scripted or freestyle practice. In-app prices listed were $12.99 a month, $49.99 a year or $99.99 lifetime. The listing shows English only. Best for: you, a script and five quiet minutes.

**Speeko.** Its site lists analysis of pace, filler words, intonation, sentiment, talk time and word choice, plus warm-ups, notecards and interview prompts. Subscriptions page prices as of October 2026: $29.99 monthly, $8.33 a month on the annual plan with a 7-day trial, or $299.99 lifetime. Best for: building a daily habit with guided exercises.

**PowerPoint Speaker Coach.** Microsoft's support page says it is free in preview for anyone with a Microsoft account. It flags pace, pitch, fillers, informal phrases and reading your slides aloud, then gives a report. Best for: the night before a presentation, if your deck is already in PowerPoint.

**Huru.** Free AI mock interviews with an interviewer who asks follow-ups, three pressure levels and scored answers, in English, Spanish, Portuguese, German and French. Best for: job seekers on a zero budget.

**Vocal Image.** Voice tests, pitch-matching drills, tongue twisters, breathing exercises and some AI roleplay. Best for: sounding steadier and less monotone, if voice quality is the real issue.

**Speaking Coach (ours).** An AI voice partner plays the other side: an interviewer who reads your CV, an audience that asks questions about your slides, or a stranger at a party. Afterwards you get your pace, fillers, long pauses and tips that quote what you said, then you can retry the exact moment. It runs on iPhone and Android in 20 languages and never rates your accent. It's a subscription; see the App Store or Google Play for the price in your country.

## Phone or browser?

Yoodli's individual product is on the web, and we did not see a phone app on its site in October 2026. That matters more than it sounds. Most people practice in the gaps: on a walk, in the car park before an interview, in a hotel room the night before a talk. Orai, Speeko, Vocal Image, Huru (iOS) and Speaking Coach all run on a phone.

## What none of them replaces

A real audience. Apps are for repetitions: saying the opening ten times until it is automatic. Before a big talk, give it once to two or three people and watch where their attention drops. Our [rehearsal plan](/speaking-coach/guides/how-to-practice-a-speech/) shows how to combine both, and the free [pace checker](/speaking-coach/tools/pace-checker/) is enough to catch rushing.

## Questions people ask

### Is Yoodli still free?

As of October 2026, its pricing page says individuals can start free on the Starter plan, which includes 5 lifetime sessions. Pro and Advanced are paid and billed annually.

### Does Yoodli have a phone app?

We did not see one on Yoodli's site in October 2026; its individual product runs in the browser. Check its site for updates.

### What is the best free Yoodli alternative?

For presentations, PowerPoint's Speaker Coach (free preview, English). For interviews, Huru, which says it is free for job seekers. For filler words, the free [filler word counter](/speaking-coach/tools/filler-word-counter/) on this site counts them in your browser.

### Which alternative works in languages other than English?

Speaking Coach works in 20 languages, Huru lists five and Vocal Image's app is offered in ten interface languages. Orai and PowerPoint Speaker Coach are English only.

### Is Yoodli better for teams?

Yes. If a company is buying practice for a sales or leadership team, with custom scenarios, scoring and reporting, Yoodli is built for that and the individual apps here are not.
