Privacy Policy
Sodhera Intelligence Private Limited ("Sodhera," "we," "us," or "our") operates the SleepBlock mobile application (the "App"). SleepBlock is a bedtime commitment app that helps you set a sleep schedule, log your nights, and build a healthier sleep rhythm. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, share, and protect your information when you use the App. By using SleepBlock, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.
We are committed to transparency and to safeguarding your personal data. Please read this Privacy Policy carefully. If you do not agree with any part of it, please do not use the App.
1. Information We Collect
1.1 Information You Provide Directly
When you set up and use SleepBlock, you may voluntarily provide the following information:

About Apple Screen Time selections: When you choose which apps to block, Apple's Family Controls framework returns only opaque, privacy-preserving tokens. We never receive the names, icons, or bundle identifiers of the apps you select, and we cannot see how you use them. These tokens are meaningful only to the operating system on your own device.
1.2 Apple Health (HealthKit) Data
Apple Health integration is entirely optional. If you choose to connect it from the Profile prompt or Settings, and only after you grant permission, SleepBlock may:
- Read your sleep analysis history from Apple Health, so imported nights can appear alongside nights you log in-app.
- Write nights you log in SleepBlock back to Apple Health as sleep-analysis samples.
Health data accessed through HealthKit stays on your device and, if you enable it, syncs only through Apple's own iCloud/Health mechanisms under your Apple ID. In accordance with Apple's requirements, we do not use HealthKit data for advertising or marketing, we do not sell it, and we do not share it with third parties. You can revoke Health access at any time in the iOS Settings app or the Apple Health app.
1.3 Information Generated Automatically

1.4 Information We Do Not Collect
- We do not collect your precise location.
- We do not access your contacts, photos, microphone, or camera.
- We do not sell your personal information.
- We do not use your sleep or health data to serve advertising.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information described above to:
- Create your account and authenticate you securely;
- Build and display your personalized sleep plan, schedule, and history;
- Compute your sleep summaries, scores, streaks, and charts;
- Merge and de-duplicate nights logged in-app with nights imported from Apple Health, so a night is never double-counted;
- Enable optional sleep-enforcement features that shield the apps you select;
- Process and manage your subscription and free trial;
- Respond to your support requests;
- Maintain the security, integrity, and reliability of the App; and
- Comply with legal obligations.
3. How Your Information Is Stored
SleepBlock is designed to be local-first.
- On your device: Your profile, sleep sessions, sleep schedule, blocked-apps selection, and preferences are stored locally on your device. Authentication tokens are stored securely in the iOS Keychain.
- Sleep data is not stored on our servers. Today, your logged sleep sessions are not uploaded to or synced through a Sodhera server.
- Account identity: Your account credentials and email are handled by our authentication provider (see Section 4) to give you a stable sign-in. This account acts as an identity gate and is kept separate from your on-device sleep data.
4. Third-Party Services
SleepBlock relies on a small number of trusted third-party services to function. Each processes only the data needed for its role:

These providers act as our processors or as independent controllers of the data they receive, and are contractually or legally obligated to protect it. We encourage you to review their privacy policies:

5. Payments and Subscriptions
SleepBlock is offered as a subscription with a free trial. All payments are processed by Apple through the App Store and managed via RevenueCat. We never receive or store your full payment card details. Your purchase is tied to your Apple ID, and subscription management, cancellation, and refunds are handled through your Apple account settings, subject to Apple's terms.
6. Data Sharing and Disclosure
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only in these limited circumstances:
- With service providers listed in Section 4, strictly to operate the App;
- For legal reasons, if required by law, regulation, legal process, or enforceable governmental request;
- To protect rights and safety, where necessary to prevent fraud, abuse, or harm; and
- In a business transfer, such as a merger or acquisition, in which case we will notify you and this Policy will continue to apply to your information.
7. Data Retention
Data stored locally on your device remains until you delete it in the App, sign out, or uninstall the App. Account information held by our authentication provider is retained for as long as your account exists. When you delete your account (see Section 9), we delete or anonymize the associated account data, except where we must retain limited records to comply with legal obligations.
8. Security
We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including encrypted transport (HTTPS/TLS) for network communication, secure storage of authentication tokens in the iOS Keychain, and reliance on reputable providers with strong security practices. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. Your Rights and Choices
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data. Within the App you can:
- Edit your name and account email in Profile;
- Enable or disable Apple Health sync at any time;
- Change or clear your blocked-apps selection and sleep schedule;
- Sign out, which removes your session from the device; and
- Delete data stored on your device by uninstalling the App.
To request access to, correction of, or deletion of your account data, email us at privacy@sodhera.com. You may also revoke Apple Health permissions at any time from the iOS Settings or Apple Health app.
10. Children's Privacy
SleepBlock is not directed to children under the age of 13 (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can remove it.
11. International Users
Sodhera operates internationally, and your information may be processed in countries other than your own, including by the third-party providers listed above. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for such transfers. By using the App, you understand that your information may be transferred and processed in this way.
12. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last Updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you within the App. Your continued use of SleepBlock after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.
