These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the SleepBlock mobile application and related services (collectively, the "App"), operated by Sodhera Intelligence Private Limited ("Sodhera," "we," "us," or "our"). By downloading, accessing, or using SleepBlock, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.


1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent in your country) to use SleepBlock. By using the App, you represent that you meet this requirement and that you have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms. If you are using the App on behalf of someone else, you represent that you are authorized to accept these Terms for them.


2. Your Account

SleepBlock requires you to create an account after onboarding, using Sign in with Apple, Sign in with Google, or an email and password. You are responsible for:

  • Providing accurate information when creating your account;
  • Maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials; and
  • All activity that occurs under your account.

Notify us promptly at support@sodhera.com if you believe your account has been compromised.


3. Subscriptions, Free Trial, and Billing

SleepBlock is offered as a paid subscription. There is no permanent free tier; instead, we offer a free trial so you can experience the full product before you are charged.

  • Plans. We offer an annual plan (which may include a free-trial period, currently 7 days) and a monthly plan. The exact price, trial length, and terms are shown on the subscription screen inside the App at the time of purchase.
  • Payment. All purchases are processed by Apple through your App Store account and managed via RevenueCat. Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase or at the end of any applicable free trial.
  • Auto-renewal. Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your Apple ID account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period.
  • Free trial. If you begin a free trial and do not cancel at least 24 hours before it ends, you will be automatically charged for the subscription. Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited when you purchase a subscription.
  • Managing and cancelling. You can manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple ID account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
  • Refunds. Purchases are handled by Apple and are subject to Apple's refund policies. We generally cannot issue refunds directly; please request refunds through Apple.

4. License to Use the App

Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download and use SleepBlock on Apple devices you own or control, for your own personal, non-commercial use.


5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the App;
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the App, except where permitted by law;
  • Use the App in any way that violates applicable law or regulation;
  • Interfere with, disrupt, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the App, our systems, or our providers' systems;
  • Use the App to build or train a competing product; or
  • Circumvent, disable, or defeat any security or usage-restriction feature of the App.

6. Sleep Enforcement and Device Features

SleepBlock offers optional features that can shield or restrict access to apps you select during your sleep period, using Apple's Screen Time / Family Controls capabilities. You understand and agree that:

  • These features operate entirely through Apple's system permissions and only apply to apps you choose to include;
  • You are responsible for the apps you select, and you can change or remove your selection at any time;
  • SleepBlock cannot and does not disable emergency functions, phone calls, or other critical system features; and
  • You should not rely on the App as a safety-critical tool. Ensure you can always access emergency services and any apps you need during the night.

7. Health Disclaimer

SleepBlock is a wellness and habit-building tool. It is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Sleep scores, summaries, and insights are informational only and may be inaccurate. SleepBlock is not a substitute for professional advice. If you have concerns about your sleep or health, consult a qualified healthcare provider. Do not use SleepBlock to make medical decisions.


8. Apple Health

If you enable Apple Health, you authorize SleepBlock to read your sleep history and write logged nights to Apple Health, subject to the permissions you grant. Your use of Apple Health is also governed by Apple's terms and privacy policy. We handle HealthKit data as described in our Privacy Policy and do not use it for advertising or share it with third parties.


9. Intellectual Property

The App and all associated content, design, logos, trademarks, and software are owned by Sodhera or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. Except for the limited license granted in Section 4, these Terms do not transfer any right, title, or interest in the App to you.


10. Third-Party Services

The App relies on third-party services, including Apple, Supabase, Google, and RevenueCat. Your use of those services may be subject to their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the acts, omissions, or content of third parties, and their availability may affect the App's functionality.


11. Your Data

Our collection and use of your information is described in our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. By using the App, you consent to those practices.


12. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or that any data (including sleep scores or imported Health data) will be accurate or complete.


13. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Sodhera and its officers, employees, and providers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of (or inability to use) the App. To the extent liability cannot be excluded, our total aggregate liability is limited to the amount you paid us for the App in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim, or, where no amount was paid, to USD 50.


14. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Sodhera and its affiliates from any claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your misuse of the App or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.


15. Termination

You may stop using the App and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, if required by law, or if we discontinue the App. Upon termination, the licenses granted to you end, but sections that by their nature should survive (including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and indemnification) will continue to apply.


16. Changes to the App and These Terms

We may modify or discontinue the App, or update these Terms, at any time. When we make material changes to these Terms, we will update the "Last Updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the App. Your continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.


17. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Sodhera Intelligence Private Limited is established, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Nothing in these Terms limits any mandatory consumer-protection rights you may have under the laws of your country of residence.


18. Apple App Store Terms

These Terms are between you and Sodhera, not with Apple. Apple is not responsible for the App or its content. To the extent applicable, Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you. Your use of the App must also comply with the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions and the App Store's Licensed Application End User License Agreement.
